Established in 1982 by Bobby Moore (not THE Bobby Moore...) Highgate Albion started off by playing friendly games (is there such a thing???) before joining up with the Hendon & District Sunday Football League the following year.

Success came quickly and the club finished top of Division 7 scoring over 100 goals in their first campaign.

News of the club spread and soon Highgate Albion had 5 teams represented within the HDSFL as well as a ladies team in its ranks.

The club has enjoyed a good degree of success within in time with the league including League Winners trophies, Reg Ellis Cup victories (the leagues equivelent of the FA Cup), divisional cups victories and the League run Charity Cups to boot.

Even the leagues 'best club linesman' can be added to the clubs honours list.

The club continues to run 3 teams within the HDSFL (regarded by many as the best Sunday Football League within the County), has run ladies teams in the past and talks are underway for a youth set up to be incorperated into our fold.

This season (2005/06) the clubs 1st team made their mark at County level and lifted the Middlesex County FA Sunday Intermediate Cup for the first time in the clubs history.

The club prides itself on the basis that we are much more than just a football club. Obviously the love of the beautiful game is the thing that brings us together but through the social side of the club, events such as Cricket Matches, Club Tours and Nights out watching the Highgate Albion Greyhound ' Winch Whippet' (with 'Up The Albion' soon to race) help create a fun and friendly atmosphere where team-mates become friends.

As the club approaches it's 25th birthday (which is a milestone beyond what many thought possible) celebrations are being planned that will hopefully mean we can continue for many more to come.
