HAFC Inter Club Bowling Night:

The club held it's first 'Inter Club Bowling Night' on Friday 22nd December and the night was a big success.

Despite a few last minute drop outs the turnout was pretty impressive and Hollywood Bowl certanly didnt know what hit them.

Unfortunately the 2nd team couldn't get a squad out and so it was left for the 1st Team, 3rd Team and The Vets to compete for the coveted trophy.

Pairs were chosen by the respective captains and it was game on.

The competition looked to be tough as in the first frame Jordan was on for 5 Strikes in a row but he choked after all the attention (although he did go on to make the spare).

After the 1st round of games the scores were 1st = 1004, 3rd = 857 & Vets = 889

However despite a great fight back in the 2nd frame by Trev & Bobby the first team just managed to hold firm and gain victory by 75 points.

Lowest score on the night was Darren Wells who managed a paltry 59 in the first frame (although he was too concerned with having a cuddle after every ball bowled) and this meant that he was one half of the lowest pairing as Tim sadly wasnt broad enough to carry him.

One of many highlights was Ry using the kids frame after deciding that bowling with his left hand was a waste of time (see video below & keep an eye out for his face once afterwards ;D).
