25 Year Anniversary

To help celebrate the clubs 25th Aniversary (which is a fantastic acheivement for a Sunday League Football Club ) we are planning to host a series of events involving club members from the very first season up until the current season.

The key to the clubs success over the years is the organisation and detail that has been put into the running of the club both in and also outside of it's footballing capacity meaning that the club has an almost family like quality about it and once you've played for Highgate Albion there seems to be a little bit of Highgate that remains with you forever.

Playing the game is obviously an important part of a football club but we realise that having fun and making friendships is a far greater benefit for the people involved than chasing lost dreams. Having said that the fact that we are not bad at what brings us together initially also benefits the club and it's members and a suitable level can be found for all making being a Highgate Albion FC member an all round satisfying experience.

Details To Be Arranged.

Sunday 20th May 2007:

The Vets Challenge Cup: Highgate Albion Vets v North London Olympians Vets

What could be more fun than a local derby??? OK so many of the players who are playing may not have been playing when NLO joined the HDSFL becoming our nearest rivals whilst the used The Shepherds (now the Boogaloo) they even had the cheek to move in on the Winchester once their pub shut down....

No doubt it will be a good game and an even better drink up afterwards.

Game being played at Old Cholmleans FC, Hendon Wood Lane, Totteridge. 11am kick off.

HIGHGATE ALBION WON 2-1 TO WIN THE FIRST EVER 'VETS CHALLENGE CUP'.
